Deoria Tal is one of the easiest treks you can do — but the reward feels much bigger.
The trail is short and not too difficult, making it perfect for beginners.
Once you reach the lake, everything slows down. The water is calm, and on a clear day, you can see mountain peaks reflecting perfectly.
It’s not about adventure here — it’s about sitting quietly and just looking at the view.
This place shows that you don’t always need a difficult trek to experience something beautiful.
Day by Day
Delhi → Rishikesh / Ukhimath
Overnight bus from Delhi to Rishikesh (~₹450–₹600). Then travel towards Ukhimath/Sari village (base point). Stay overnight.
Sari village → Deoria Tal (2–3 km trek)
Short trek from Sari village (2–3 km, easy). Reach Deoria Tal in 1–2 hours. Spend time near lake, enjoy views.
Sunrise + return
Early morning for best reflection view. Descend back to Sari and return towards Rishikesh/Delhi.
